Officials of Ferozkoh Cultural Foundation gave information about their activities, goals and educational and cultural programs and said that this foundation provides two-year professional education to young people in the fields of carving, carpentry, goldsmithing and tailoring, so that their artistic and professional abilities can be strengthened and the learning and development of traditional arts can be provided.
Also, the Minister of Culture and Arts praised the activities of Feruzkoh Cultural Foundation and called the efforts of this foundation valuable in strengthening the professional skills of the young generation, promoting traditional arts and protecting the country’s cultural heritage. He stressed that the activities of the foundation should be extended to other provinces of the country so that the youth in different regions can enjoy professional education and artistic opportunities.
Sheikh Tayibi explained that Afghanistan needs reconstruction and development in various fields, especially in the field of culture and art, more efforts should be made to preserve ancient and traditional arts; Cultural values should grow and the young generation should take an effective part in the country’s population and development through their artistic abilities.
The Minister of Culture and Art has also asked the officials of the said foundation to expand their works and projects in the areas of construction and strengthening of artistic parts of historical monuments and other cultural heritages.
At the end of his speech, he assured that the Ministry of Culture and Art provides the necessary facilities for the development of cultural and artistic services based on the policies and procedures of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
