In this scientific and research seminar, Minister of Culture and Art of the Ministry of Information and Culture Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayibi, Deputy Governor of Balkh Maulvi Noorul Hadi Abu Doris, President of Balkh University Sheikh Al Hadith Maulvi Muhammad Saeed Hashemi, Chairman of Ulama Council of Balkh Province Maulvi Hayatullah Halim, Chairman of Information and Culture of Balkh Maulvi Muhammadullah Zarar, university professors, scholars, students and a number of cultural personalities participated in this seminar.
First, the Head of Information and Culture of Balkh Province Maulvi Muhammadullah Zarar welcomed the participants of the seminar and Minister of Culture and Art of the Ministry of Information and Culture Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayibi and talked about the ancient history, civilization, scientific status and cultural values of Balkh.
Mr. Zarrar called Balkh the cradle of science and arts, ancient history and civilization and said that this province has remained one of the important historical centers of the world in terms of religious sciences, jurisprudence and scientific activities. He also emphasized the importance of identifying and protecting the historical and scientific heritage of Balkh.
Also, the Deputy Governor of Balkh Maulvi Noorul Hadi Abu Doris called the seminar important for the recognition of the historical and cultural values of this province and emphasized that more scientific research should be done on the history, scientific and cultural personalities of Balkh and the results should be published to the people. He asked researchers, writers and writers of scientific articles to consider Islamic and historical facts in their research and present the history of Afghanistan to the public in an authentic manner. He added that there is no place for ethnic and religious disunity in present-day Afghanistan and the Afghan people are working together for the development and development of their country under the rule of the Islamic Emirate.
At the same time, Minister of Culture and Art of the Ministry of Information and Culture Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayibi called the historical, scientific and cultural background of Balkh a great honor for Afghanistan and said that Balkh province is one of the regions, which has spread knowledge and knowledge from its scientific and cultural centers to other parts of the country.
Mr. Tayibi thanked the professors of Balkh University, who prepared scientific papers on the historical, scientific and cultural background of this province and presented them to the participants of the seminar.
He asked the teachers to continue their research on the ancient history, famous scholars and cultural heritage of Balkh and to pass on this valuable heritage to future generations through scientific articles and books. He also asked all Afghans to work to keep their Afghan culture alive, strengthen and develop, and to know and preserve the country’s historical and cultural values.
Also, Chairman of Ulama Council of Balkh Province Maulvi Hayatullah Haleem referring to scientific and cultural figures like Imam Bukhari and Maulana Jalaluddin Muhammad Balkhi said that Balkh is not only economically important but also considered as one of the important historical centers of science, religious education and culture.
On the other hand, the president of Balkh University Sheikh Al-Hadith Maulvi Muhammad Saeed Hashemi emphasized the scientific and historical position of Balkh, that the lives, scientific services and works of the famous scholars, scholars and scientific personalities of this province should be recorded and published in books and magazines, so that the present and future generations get to know them and benefit from the scientific heritage.
In the second part of the seminar, the professors of Balkh University and private universities read their prepared scientific articles about the historical, scientific and cultural background of this province and shared detailed information with the participants about the cultural value of Balkh, famous scholars, scientific personalities and historical achievements.
It is worth noting that the establishment of this scientific and research seminar is considered an important step in identifying the historical and cultural heritage of Balkh, strengthening scientific research and protecting the values of the ancient civilization of the country.
