Due to illness in the immediate family, the mayor of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq will be on leave.
Mayor of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq Avaaraq Olsen (IA), has gone on leave for the month of April from today, April 8.
It happens for personal reasons as a result of illness in the immediate family.
The municipality writes this on their website.
While the leave lasts, deputy mayor Poul Petersen (D) will act as mayor and take care of the political tasks and representative obligations.
The municipal board meeting on April 8 will be held online, where information will be given about the mayor’s leave.
