This program aims to enable children and young people from urban and rural areas to benefit from the 2026 summer camp program and guarantee their right to leisure and relaxation, develop the intellectual and cultural capacities of children and young people, while strengthening the spirit of volunteerism, citizenship and collective work, and promote cultural and social diversity through group life experiences.
The Act4Community Khouribga initiative, part of the OCP Group – Khouribga site, launched, in partnership with local associations active in the field of summer camps, its Summer Camp Program – Summer 2026 for the benefit of children in the provinces of Khouribga and Fquih Ben Salah, under the theme “A new vision for building life”. This initiative is part of the National Summer Camp Program 2026, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and supervised by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, Department of Youth.
This program aims to enable children and young people from urban and rural areas to benefit from the 2026 summer camp program and guarantee their right to leisure and relaxation, develop the intellectual and cultural capacities of children and young people, while strengthening the spirit of volunteerism, citizenship and collective work, and promote cultural and social diversity through group life experiences. It is also about offering children and young people the opportunity to discover new experiences and establishing friendships with their peers from other cities, contributing to the construction of the personality of children and young people by promoting the values of citizenship and environmental protection and allowing beneficiaries to discover various skills and acquire new technical know-how.
“The commitment of Act4Community Khouribga in the organization of the 2026 summer camp program is a continuation of previous editions, organized since 2014 in coordination with local stakeholders, in particular educational associations specializing in summer camps and the National Federation of Summer Camps, under the supervision of the provincial directorate of the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication. These different editions have enabled more than 17,300 children to benefit from this program over the last decade,” indicate the organizers, noting that as part of its participatory approach, Act4Community Khouribga has also associated associations, cooperatives as well as local companies specializing in services linked to summer camps and in the textile sector, in order to improve the quality of the offer proposed and to ensure the making of uniform outfits intended for beneficiaries and management teams.
In terms of figures, nearly 2,000 children, aged 7 to under 15, will benefit free of charge from Act4Community Khouribga’s Summer 2026 Summer Camp program. “The stays will be organized in several seaside resorts by more than 40 associations approved by the Ministry of Youth for the supervision of 2026 holiday camps,” specifies the same source. Thus, the program will take place in two stages, supervised by more than 200 facilitators and educational executives proposed by the participating associations.
The beneficiary children come from 35 territorial communes in the provinces of Khouribga and Fquih Ben Salah. More than 60 local associations will contribute to their mobilization as well as coordination with their families and local authorities.
