Authorities are hunting down two armed men who robbed customers at gunpoint inside an eatery and stole their gadgets, cash, and a motorcycle in Rodriguez, Rizal.
The Rizal Police Provincial Office (Rizal PPO) said the incident occurred at around 1:45 a.m. on Friday, April 17, inside the eatery on E-Rodriguez Highway in Barangay San Jose.
Authorities said the robbery happened as the victims were waiting for their food inside the establishment when the suspects, both wearing helmets, suddenly entered and declared a hold-up at gunpoint.
They then forcibly took the following items from the customers: a wallet containing P2,000, an iPhone 16+, a Vivo Lite 5G One, a Samsung tablet, and an iPhone 13. They also took a sling bag containing P5,000 and various identification cards.
Authorities added that the suspects also took a customer’s motorcycle, a Yamaha Aerox V3, before fleeing.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and operations to identify and arrest the suspects.
