A man is dead following a shooting incident along Spruce Street, St Michael on Tuesday night.
He has been identified as 26-year-old Daquan Roberts of Church Hill Road, Gall Hill, Christ Church.
Reports are that Roberts was standing outside a residence with two relatives around 10:50 p.m. when a white motor van approached from the direction of Beckwith Street and a number of gunshots were discharged, striking him.
He reportedly ran from the scene but collapsed further along the road and was transported by private vehicle to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
