The Mushaira was held in Ibrahim Khel village of Maidan City, the center of Maidan Wardak province in cooperation with the Ministry of Information and Culture’s Department of Anthems and Anthems. It was attended by Moulvi Atiqullah Azizi, Minister of Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Mohajer Farahi, Minister of Publication Affairs, provincial officials, poets, writers, writers, culture lovers and thousands of literature lovers.
Maulvi Habibullah Mujahid, head of information and culture of the said province, while welcoming the participants of the event, said that the traditional apple flower festival is an important event for the protection of cultural values, strengthening of national unity and brotherhood.
He asked the poets to pay special attention to the development of the country, knowledge, unity, Islamic values and public awareness messages in their poems.
Maulvi Atiqullah Azizi, Minister of Culture of the Ministry of Information and Culture, said that literary gatherings and fairs play an important role in spreading positive values along with the intellectual development of the people.
He added that purposeful and reformative poetry can play an effective role in educating society and encourage people from negative thoughts to positive ones.
After that, the mushaira started, in which Mujahir Farahi, Minister of Public Affairs, and many other poets presented their epic, peaceful, social and intellectual poems, which were warmly welcomed by the participants.
The show started in the afternoon and continued till late at night.
