Everest Kazheli, appointed head of the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) in Elbasan, has resigned only three hours after the appointment.
In his place, Gentian Mahmutaj has been appointed, who previously held the position of head of the technical-legal sector in the General Directorate of ASHK.
The change in the direction of the institution comes a few hours after the appointment of Kazhel.
Until his appointment as head of the Elbasan Cadastre, Kazheli was leading that of Fier. The latter is involved in property alienation scandals.
So far, the reasons for his resignation have not been announced.
