The Peruvian territory is located in an area with a high propensity for seismic activity, because it is located in the “Pacific Ring of Fire”. Following this logic, the country usually trembles continuously with varying magnitudes from the most imperceptible to large-scale earthquakes. These being the most feared by the population.
