According to Bakhtar News Agency, during this trip, the delegation visited a number of historical, cultural, media, industrial and tourist centers in Shanghai, Xi’an and Urumqi cities.
They also discussed the development of political, economic, cultural and especially media cooperation between Afghanistan and China in meetings with some officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China.
The head of the Afghan delegation, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, said that Afghanistan and China have historical relations based on good neighborliness, mutual respect and common interests.
He emphasized on the development of joint programs, professional training, travel, media cooperation and direct relations between the media of the two countries.
At the same time, the Chinese side also called the media an important bridge for strengthening mutual understanding, friendship and trust between the peoples of the two countries and welcomed the development of mutual travel and media cooperation between Afghan and Chinese journalists.
It is worth mentioning that a number of Afghan journalists and media representatives had traveled to China before.
