Three 15-year-old girls charged with affray in connection with a fight during the Cancer Society’s Walk for the Cure have each been granted $1 500 bail and are due to appear in the Juvenile Court next Thursday.
It is alleged that they used unlawful violence towards another girl and their conduct was such that it would cause another person at the scene to fear for their safety.
The trio is charged with committing the offence on Sunday, October 4, when the walk was held on the Warrens-to-Hothersal Turning section of the ABC Highway.
They were not allowed to plead during their appearance before Acting Magistrate Shakieda Sealy in the No. 2 District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court.
The case was transferred to the Juvenile Court for October 22.
