The National Criminal Court for Combating Terrorism and Organized Crime at the Sidi Mohamed Court dealt with 3 criminal cases related to setting fires to forest property.
According to a statement by the Republic Prosecution at the same judicial authority, these cases resulted in the issuance of orders to place 4 defendants in temporary detention.
In details, the first case relates to the felony of intentionally setting fire to the forests in the state of Constantine, by the defendants Ben Fouchal Saber Ayoub and Boghraba Abdel Rahman.
A video clip was recovered documenting these two people setting a fire at the site of the fire, the source says.

As for the second case, it relates to the so-called Moisi Farouk setting fire to forests and trees on the roads of Soumam in Constantine as well. This was after retrieving a video clip documenting him setting a fire at the site of the fire.
The third case concerns the arrest of Ben Khalifa Saif Al-Din, red-handed, setting fire to two piles of copper wires along the ground line of the line linking the states of Constantine and Annaba. Which led to the destruction of two hectares of trees within the forest cover.
