InDrive, in cooperation with the WinNelka Association, supports children and families affected by the recent forest fires in Algeria, through an initiative to distribute school supplies, with the aim of accompanying students on the occasion of the start of the new school year.
Within the framework of this solidarity initiative, about 390 students from states affected by the recent forest fires will benefit from integrated school supplies appropriate to their educational levels, from primary to middle and secondary levels.
This initiative aims to provide tangible support to families facing additional challenges as a result of fires, and to help students continue their studies with the necessary supplies.
School supplies will be distributed according to the students’ needs and academic levels. About 74 bags will be allocated to students in the first and second years of primary school, 75 bags to students in the third year, 68 bags to students in the fourth and fifth years, 83 bags to middle school students, and 90 bags to secondary school students.
The initiative also includes the process of preparing school supplies and monitoring their quality, in addition to logistical services and transportation, to ensure their delivery in the best conditions to the relevant municipalities. This initiative comes on the occasion of school entry, which began on September 21, 2026, with the aim of accompanying the concerned students with the beginning of their new academic year.
Wael Al-Mama, General Manager of InDrive in Algeria, said: “At InDrive, we believe that supporting communities is not limited to mobility services. When families are going through difficult circumstances, tangible support can make a real difference. Through this initiative, we are pleased to support some 390 children affected by the forest fires, and help them start their new school year with the supplies they need to learn, grow and move forward with confidence.”
This initiative reflects Indrive’s commitment to supporting local communities and contributing to initiatives that provide tangible and positive assistance to individuals and families throughout Algeria.
