The former candidate for deputy of the DP and member of the National Council, Ilirjana Kuçana, explained in the show “The Unexposed” on MCN TV the clash she had with the chairman of the DP, Sali Berisha, during the meeting of the National Council.
Kuçana said that she had submitted a resolution, which, according to her, was not considered by the leaders of the meeting.
“I asked the president of the National Council to give me the floor to present the resolution, to then pass it to the members for a vote. She only had a regulatory role, but she refused to read it, even though I had filed it 24 hours ago.
The resolution contained three main proposals.
The first point was about the opening of the Democratic Party and listening to the voices of the protesters. The second was the establishment of an intellectual front and a student front, not necessarily with DP members. The third point was the ‘demonstration’ of the Democratic Party.
“Mulization” is a phenomenon that must be fought. It is a model without meritocracy, where a group of serviles has been created and, if Flamur Noka does not “bless” you, you cannot make a career in the Democratic Party.
I have nothing personal with Mr. Noka. But in the political aspect, I think he has fulfilled his mission and should have followed the example of Edi Paloka.
The Democratic Party needs reflection after the elections and to get closer to the citizen protest.
PD must listen to the voice of the square and reflect on the protest. What is happening is not renewal, but recycling” – said Kuçana.
