From the Administrative Capital to the New Delta, Dabaa and Sinai… “The Seventh Day” documents the harvest of 13 years of national projects in a digital epic using artificial intelligence techniques that monitors the journey of building the new republic

“Youm 7” newspaper launched an expanded campaign based on the latest artificial intelligence technologies, to monitor and document the most prominent national projects that Egypt has witnessed since the revolution of June 30, 2013, through a series of specialized videos that review the journey of implementing major projects from their announcement until they enter service, in a modern visual experience aimed at presenting information and facts in a simplified and attractive way to the public.

The campaign comes within the framework of documenting one of the largest waves of development that the Egyptian state has witnessed in its modern history, as Egypt has succeeded over the past years in implementing thousands of national and strategic projects in various sectors, including infrastructure, roads, housing, energy, agriculture, industry, transportation, and urban development, which contributed to creating a qualitative shift in the state’s ability to achieve sustainable development and improve the quality of life for citizens.

The campaign videos rely on modern artificial intelligence technologies, most notably AI and Glow Up technologies, to re-present the various stages of projects in an innovative manner, as the stages of implementation and development and the economic and developmental objectives of each project are reviewed, with a focus on numbers and indicators that reflect the scale of achievement achieved on the ground over the past years.

The campaign addresses the New Administrative Capital project, as it is one of the largest urban development projects in the Middle East, as the city extends over an area exceeding 170,000 acres, and includes the government district, the headquarters of ministries and parliament, and central business districts, in addition to the iconic tower, which is the highest in Africa with a height of nearly 400 meters, in addition to advanced road networks and facilities that accommodate millions of citizens during the various stages of the project.

The campaign also reviews the New Delta Project, which is one of the largest agricultural expansion projects in Egypt, and aims to add millions of acres to the agricultural area and enhance food security, in addition to the Egypt Future Project for Sustainable Development, which has become one of the most important modern agricultural projects relying on advanced irrigation systems and modern agricultural technology to achieve the highest production rates.

The videos shed light on development projects in Sinai, which included the implementation of the Suez Canal tunnels that connect the Egyptian Peninsula with the Valley and Delta around the clock, in addition to the construction and development of hundreds of kilometers of roads, axes, and service networks, as well as the implementation of housing, agricultural and industrial development projects that contributed to supporting efforts to reconstruct Sinai and transform it into an attractive area for investment and development.

    Monorail

In the transportation sector, the campaign monitors the unprecedented boom that Egypt has witnessed through the implementation of thousands of kilometers of new roads, corridors, and bridges, in addition to the high-speed electric train, monorail, and electric train projects. These projects aim to create a modern transportation network that connects various parts of the republic and supports development and investment.

The campaign also addresses the national project “A Decent Life,” which is the largest social development project in Egypt’s modern history, as it aims to develop thousands of Egyptian villages and improve the level of services provided to citizens in the countryside, through implementing projects in the fields of drinking water, sanitation, education, health, roads, and communications, which directly reflects the quality of life for millions of citizens.

The campaign also includes a review of other strategic projects such as the Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant, the Secure and Smart Issues Complex, the Rubiki Industrial City, and the National Silo Project, which has significantly increased wheat storage capacities, in addition to fish farming projects that have enhanced fish production and contributed to achieving food security.

The “Seventh Day” campaign confirms that what was achieved over the past thirteen years were not just separate projects, but rather an integrated vision for building the new republic, where huge investments were made in establishing a strong infrastructure and strategic projects capable of supporting the national economy, providing job opportunities, and improving the level of services, which made the Egyptian development experience one of the most prominent development experiences in the region during the last decade.

Through this documentary series supported by artificial intelligence techniques, “The Seventh Day” presents a modern digital archive that documents the journey of Egyptian achievement in numbers, pictures, and facts, and gives current and future generations the opportunity to learn about the size of the projects that were implemented after the June 30 Revolution, and how these projects contributed to shaping the features of the new republic and advancing the comprehensive development process in various parts of the country.
