“Summary” (AKIpress) – Former first deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security detained Kurvanbek Avazov and former Minister of Health Kanybek Dosmambetovthe Military Prosecutor’s Office told the editors of “AKIpress Summary” on October 9.
“In relation to this fact, appropriate procedural measures are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as possible other persons involved in illegal activities,” the statement says.

Avazov was appointed deputy chairman of the State Committee for National Security (Director of the Anti-Terrorism Center) in December 2024. The first deputy chairman was in December 2025. Released from office in February 2026.
Dosmambetov from December 24, 2025 to February 24, 2026 held the post Minister of Health.
Before working as Minister of Health, he worked at the State Committee for National Security — headed the Jalal-Abad department of the State Committee for National Security (2023-2025).
