Elena, ex-partner of Carlos Martínez —father of Moses —, spoke for the first time about his relationship with the deceased and provided details about the link that this remained with the condemned man today and his other children.
In dialogue with The Fishbowl (Azul FM), a program hosted by Ignacio Álvarez, the woman revealed that since 2013 she had a strong bond with Carlos, which included a separation in between, and that she was never “aware of nothing” of what had happened.
“I saw Sara (Moses’ sister) only once when her older sister took her home. Ana (the older sister) lived in front of her father’s house and she saw him. I saw her only once, just like Moses“, said.
After this, she referred to the connection between the deceased and the convicted man and stated that what she saw was “good relationship between father and son”.
“The children were living with him,” he mentioned and revealed that before the homicide took place, Moisés lived with his father for “a year and a half”.
During that time, he said, Carlos had “many problems” with the partner he had at that time, when Elena was separated from him, and that those clashes were “on the subject of Moses”.
“Carlos separates because he gives privilege to his son, as it should be”assured the woman. According to this, the problems of Carlos’ other ex-partner with Moisés were that the latter was with his father, “I asked him for money” and “I did what I wanted with him”.
“He told me that he was very bad because one of his sons, not Moisés, stole from him.. “He had to go to a base pasta shop to recover what was stolen,” he said.
“I didn’t want them (that son and his brother Moisés) in the house.” I know he wanted to help them because of their drug use.“, he added. After these statements, Álvarez asked her if Moisés was an addict and she assured that he was.
“He was very sad because his children were lost in that filth.. “He told me he was tired of being robbed,” he said.
According to Elena, during that time that Moisés lived with his father, he ended it “in a hurry” for him “consumption issue” of drugs that the young man had.
After this, he remembered that around December 2024 he and his brothers were waiting for a “inheritance” for one “family succession” and pointed out that both Moses and his brothers were “in the know” of that.
Later, at another point in the interview and through tears, he expressed: “He was good to me; I didn’t see him as a bad guy, as an aggressor or rapist, I didn’t experience it”.
In this sense, the woman was upset with Carlos’ children since they “never” gave her “a signal” about the man’s behavior when he “lived” with his daughters. “Nothing happened, but what if something had happened and he was a violent man like they describe him?”he wondered.
Regarding the deceased’s bond with his grandchildren, he mentioned that he “frequented” them normally and that “I took them to soccer and everything”.
“I don’t want the press, I want to give my vision of what I experienced with him because It’s not fair that they are accusing him of so many things.. I’m not saying it hasn’t happened, I don’t know. “I say that I didn’t find out from him or from anyone else what he had done,” he said about the closure and added “I saw him crying and depressed for his children”.
