Havana/This Monday, three days after the umpteenth departure from the Antonio Guiteras thermoelectric plant of Matanzas, the largest in the country, those Cubans who still have an internet connection have been able to read the most feared words from the Cuban Electrical Union (UNE). “There is a total disconnection of the national electrical energy system,” the state company announced in a brief post from Facebookwhich ended as usual, indicating that “the causes are being investigated.”
