The Dominica Cricket Association (DCA) is mourning the loss of two respected figures in the local cricket community this week—former National Youth Captain Benton Thomas and former cricketer and coach John Fabien.
In a written statement, the DCA expressed its heartfelt condolences to the families, friends, teammates and loved ones of both men, describing their passing as a significant loss for cricket in Dominica.
According to the Association, Thomas and Fabien each made lasting contributions to the development of the sport.
