The proceedings will open before judge Vico Valentini. A process on which the attention of the San Marino community, of animal rights associations and also of individual citizens who have experienced months, if not even years, of apprehension is focused.
At the center of the trial there will be two charges: mistreatment of animals referred to in article 282 bis of the penal code, including the challenge to the most recently introduced paragraph, and attack on public health by deteriorating the natural environment, referred to in article 241 of the penal code.
