Moulvi Abdul Wali Haqqani, deputy governor of Khost, Moulvi Mehboob Shah Qant, head of public health, Moulvi Akhtar Muhammad Ikrama, officials of various institutions, tribal leaders and local residents participated in the ceremony organized for this purpose.
At the beginning, the head of public health of Khost, Maulvi Akhtar Muhammad Ikrama, said that the construction of this well-equipped general hospital for Tanio district is an important step for the people of the region and upon its completion, the residents will have easy access to standard and necessary health services.
He thanked all the partners for the approval and implementation of the hospital and added that similar health projects will be implemented in other areas of Khost province in the near future.
Also, Moulvi Abdul Wali Haqqani, Minister of Health Services of the Ministry of Public Health, welcomed the start of the project and said that the leadership of the Ministry is committed to providing standard, fair and quality health services to all citizens of the country.
At the same time, the Deputy Governor of Khost Maulvi Mehboob Shah Qant called the construction of the hospital an important development in the health sector and said that this hospital will play an important role in providing standard health services to the residents of Thanio district and surrounding areas.
It is worth noting that the 50-bed general hospital to be built in Tanyo district will provide standard health services at the inpatient and outpatient (OPD) levels in admission, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics departments.
