The President of the Republic added that the deceased was “one of the great builders of the sisterly State of Qatar and an Arab leader known for his wisdom and for everything he gave to Arab issues,” asking God Almighty to cover him with his vast mercy and inspire his family with patience and solace.
He also recalled the distinguished relationship that brought the late Emir together with Algeria, stressing that Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani had a special love for Algeria, which felt the same way, and he forged strong bonds with it through his repeated visits, which contributed to strengthening fraternal relations and cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
