Saranda Border Police Commissariat has intervened in eight cases to come to the aid of vessels that faced difficulties as a result of the storm and bad weather at sea.
Three vehicles were given assistance in Bunec and were transported to the port in Limjon.
Two vessels were involved in the storm at Cape Qefali, the BP 11 boat went and 1 of them was towed to the Port of Limjon.
1 vessel at risk of drowning in the Bay of Saranda has been towed and anchored in the port of Saranda.
Also, two vehicles were given help at the place called Dry Tree in Ksamil. In addition, two boats that were anchored in the port of Limjon were pulled about 100 m away from the shore by the storm and sank.
Patrolling the sea continues with all vessels for any possible breakdown.
Due to the deterioration of bad weather conditions, it has been forbidden to go out to sea for vessels, including tourist vehicles, trawlers and small boats, in Sarandë, Ksamil and Borsh.
