The holder of first place nationally in the baccalaureate exam for the 2026 session, Bushra Hebatullah Qaroumi, made new statements to Al-Shorouk News Channel, in which she talked about her personality and her outlook on success and fluency in speech, in addition to some aspects related to her future path.
The outstanding student confirmed that she loves reading, but she does not believe that fluency in speech is necessarily acquired through reading books or magazines, considering that this trait is “innate” in humans, and develops with the passage of time and the acquisition of experience.
She added that what some see as fluency in expression may be interpreted by others as arrogance or arrogance, before she seeks refuge in God from these qualities, stressing that the credit for the success she has achieved goes primarily to the grace of God Almighty, and not to her diligence or cleverness only.
On the other hand, the daughter of the state of Tiaret stressed that all scientific and academic specializations are important, noting that development and the emergence of new specializations does not mean dispensing with the rest of the specializations.
She also stressed that some specializations are not limited to those in first place, and that being ranked first in the national ranking does not force her to choose a specific path, stressing that she will go to the specialization that is compatible with her passion and ambitions.
At the conclusion of her statements, Bushra Hebatullah Qaroumi sent a message to the students who will be ranked first in the baccalaureate degree in the future, calling on them not to link their excellence to a specific major, and to choose the university path that is compatible with their inclinations and convictions, because true success begins with passion and conviction in the choice.
On the day the results were announced, Qaromi revealed aspects of her journey towards excellence, the secrets of her success, and the moments that accompanied the announcement of her being crowned with the highest average.
Hebat Allah said that she did not realize at first that she had the highest average at the national level, stressing that the news seemed to her like a dream, until she heard the Minister of National Education announcing her name during Press conference to announce the results.
She added in her interview with Al-Shorouk News Channel that even those close to her were not aware that she was aspiring to obtain first place nationally, and it was a surprise to everyone, pointing out that she had always hoped and prayed that she would obtain it, but she did not declare it to anyone.
In the same context, she sent an inspiring message to students about to take exams, in which she called on them to adhere to their dreams and work to achieve them without revealing them to everyone, saying: “Leave wishes secretly in your hearts. If they come true, you will be happy with them, and if they do not come true, there is nothing wrong with them.”
In response to the journalist’s question about relying on private lessons, the student explained that she is not against it, but that she prefers self-training and personal diligence in her academic career. She also said that she is not a memorizer of the Holy Qur’an, but she hopes to do so.
The journalist’s question came about memorizing the Holy Qur’an in light of the repeated talk in recent years about a number of outstanding students in the baccalaureate exam who were memorizers of the Book of God. Or from the children of Quranic schools.
The student, who was studying at Wazira Ahmed Secondary School in Tiaret, obtained a grade point average of 19.26 in the sports technical division. She indicated that the biggest problem she faced was the lack of time because she was studying in the internal half.
