The Myanmar Ambassador to Kuwait, U Min Thein, expressed his gratitude for the support and assistance provided by United Nations organizations in Myanmar’s development and humanitarian efforts.
These remarks were made during a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Kuwait, Ms Ghada Hatim Eltahir, on 12 October at the United Nations House in Kuwait City.
During the meeting, the ambassador provided an update on the priority initiatives being undertaken by the embassy. He also emphasized that the Myanmar Embassy will continue to collaborate with other embassies in supporting and participating in programmes organized by UN agencies in Kuwait.
In addition, the Resident Coordinator shared information about the UN’s activities and initiatives in Kuwait, which include youth development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). — Htun Htun/ZN
