The work of the sixth edition of the RNI Youth Summer University opened Friday evening in Agadir, at the initiative of the party’s National Youth Federation.
Placed under the theme “The journey of the future: a commitment of young people for a Morocco of social transition”, this event constitutes, according to the organizers, a new stage bringing together the young people of the party around the values of commitment, participation and supervision.

Speaking on this occasion, the president of the RNI, Mohamed Chaouki indicated that this edition is of particular importance, since it coincides with the tenth anniversary of the launch of the RNI Youth Summer University, noting that these ten years have not been a simple succession of meetings or training sessions. They constituted a real continuous political project, through which the party invested in its most precious capital: youth, he underlined.

He added that the Summer University not only trained young people, it also allowed the emergence of government officials, parliamentarians, elected officials, municipal presidents and party executives, who today contribute to the service of the Nation and the management of public affairs with a spirit of responsibility and competence.

In a statement to MAP, the president of the National Youth Federation of the RNI, Lahcen Essaadi, indicated that this edition saw the participation of more than 4,000 young people, coming from different regions of the Kingdom as well as from abroad, in the presence of party leaders.
He added that this sixth edition constitutes an important step in the continuation of the journey of the future based on the consolidation of the social transition under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, highlighting the major projects relating to the generalization of social protection, social support, health coverage and the new generation of integrated development programs.

Organized over two days, this summer university is intended to be an annual meeting aimed at reaffirming the place of young people as a force of proposal and an essential partner in supporting the major reform projects undertaken in Morocco.
It also constitutes a space for dialogue, training and exchange around current issues and the challenges of the future.
The program for this edition includes a series of thematic debates and conferences devoted to political, economic, social and cultural issues.
