A man is detained for 27 days in a rape case in Sisimiut.
Thursday was a man produced in the district court on suspicion of rape.
The court chose to detain the man for 27 days, according to the head of duty at the Greenland Police, Malik Olesen.
The report about the rape was received by the police on the evening of Wednesday 1 April.
The rape must have happened in Sisimiut, and a suspect was arrested relatively shortly after the report.
On Thursday, it was decided that the man should be produced in court with a view to further detention, which the court therefore agreed with.
