CANBERRA – Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has vowed to continue the diplomatic policy approach of her mentor and former leader Shinzo Abe during her latest tour of Vietnam and Australia.
In summit talks with the leaders of both countries, Takaichi stressed the need for greater economic security cooperation, such as by strengthening supply chains for energy and natural resources as well as critical minerals.
However, achieving results under the current turbulent international situation is no easy task, pundits have said.
