There was a time when being a man was simple. As long as you mastered the basics of personal hygiene, dressed relatively well and tried not to scream profanities every time you opened the hole in your face, you could be considered a potential mate by someone, theoretically.
Now, young lads have to really up their game – spending their lives online and taking endless photos of themselves for social media means they are wracked with insecurities about looking their very best, competing against their own genetics to achieve hitherto unknown levels of hotness.
