An English footballer fell asleep “dead drunk” in a bar in Manchester
Footballer Jack Grealish once again found himself on the headlines of the local media. But not because of football, but because of heavy drunkenness and sleeping in a bar in Manchester.
The 30-year-old rising football star strengthened Manchester United in 2021, playing 94 games for the Blues and scoring 12 goals. Before this season, the club loaned Jack Grealish to Everton, and his earnings so far are 20 games played and two goals.
The now former England international (39 games, four goals), who was European runner-up in 2020 but is not on the list for this year’s World Cup, came to the Stories bar in Manchester in the afternoon at the weekend. An hour later, he was already very drunk, so he fell asleep at the table, surrounded by many glasses and bottles.
It ended up in a strip club
His friends tried to wake him, initially unsuccessfully, but then took him away from the “crime scene”. Of course, this is not his first scandal outside the football pitch, as he has quite a few on the list.
The last time he remembered was last December, when he spent more than 30,000 euros on drinks at a crazy party, and the night trip ended in one of London’s strip clubs. Grealish is currently rehabilitating from injury and his lifestyle makes it virtually impossible for Manchester City to decide to bring him back.
