McCann dominates Caribbean ADDYs again with 20 awards

For the sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year, Mc­Cann Port-of-Spain has ce­ment­ed its po­si­tion as the Caribbean’s lead­ing cre­ative agency, se­cur­ing more awards than any oth­er firm at the 2026 Amer­i­can Ad­ver­tis­ing Awards (Caribbean).

The agency de­liv­ered a stand­out per­for­mance, cap­tur­ing a to­tal of 20 Gold and Sil­ver AD­DYs—out­pac­ing all re­gion­al com­peti­tors. Its win­ning work spanned cam­paigns for sev­er­al of Trinidad and To­ba­go’s top brands, in­clud­ing First Cit­i­zens, Nestlé, Flow, NL­CB Play Whe, An­gos­tu­ra and bmo­bile.

This back-to-back dom­i­nance un­der­scores Mc­Cann’s abil­i­ty to con­sis­tent­ly de­liv­er mar­ket-lead­ing cre­ative across a broad range of sec­tors, in­clud­ing telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions, food and bev­er­age, and fi­nance.

In ad­di­tion to amass­ing the most awards over­all, the agency earned a pres­ti­gious Judges’ Choice Award for the Unilever TRE­Sem­mé “Bub­ble” Bill­board. The judg­ing pan­el praised the ex­e­cu­tion for its “clever and un­ex­pect­ed con­cept and road­side ex­e­cu­tion,” de­scrib­ing it as one of the most in­no­v­a­tive out-of-home pieces in this year’s com­pe­ti­tion.

“Main­tain­ing this lev­el of ex­cel­lence for a sec­ond con­sec­u­tive year is a tes­ta­ment to the tal­ent of our team and the brav­ery of our clients,” said Stephen Look Tong, CEO of Mc­Cann Port-of-Spain.

Six Gold AD­DYs across cat­e­gories, in­clud­ing In­te­grat­ed Brand Iden­ti­ty for Or­chard’s “Omaz­ing Re­brand,” So­cial Me­dia for An­gos­tu­ra Sol­era, and Dig­i­tal/In­ter­net com­mer­cials for bmo­bile and Flow.

Four­teen Sil­ver AD­DYs recog­nis­ing ex­cel­lence in cin­e­matog­ra­phy, an­i­ma­tion, mu­sic com­po­si­tion and il­lus­tra­tion.

As the most award­ed agency in the Caribbean tier, Mc­Cann Port-of-Spain will ad­vance to the Flori­da Dis­trict lev­el, where its win­ning en­tries will com­pete against top agen­cies from Flori­da and the wider Caribbean in May.

The Amer­i­can Ad­ver­tis­ing Awards is the in­dus­try’s largest and most rep­re­sen­ta­tive com­pe­ti­tion, at­tract­ing more than 25,000 en­tries an­nu­al­ly across the Unit­ed States and Caribbean, and recog­nis­ing ex­cel­lence in cre­ative ad­ver­tis­ing.
