On Thursday night into Friday, the Zionist occupation army intensified its attacks on southern Lebanon in violation of the truce that began on April 16 for ten days and was extended on April 24 for three weeks.
The Lebanese News Agency reported that the Zionist warplanes and drones targeted Tire and Bint Jbeil in more than 70 raids in the western and central sectors, and this coincided with an artillery bombardment that resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of people and the destruction of homes, infrastructure and roads.
One person was martyred in a Zionist raid that targeted the area between the towns of Maaroub and Al-Humairi, while two people were injured in the raid on Dibbin.
The Zionist raids also targeted the towns of Al-Baruriyah, Arzoun, Al-Sawwanah, Al-Khiyam, and Khirbet.
The death toll from the ongoing Zionist aggression against Lebanon since the second of last March until last night rose to 2,586 martyrs and 8,020 injured, according to what was announced by the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
