According to information compiled from Turkish Exporters Assembly data; The ship, yacht and services sector has demonstrated a stable growth performance in recent years.
NUMBERS CONTINUE TO INCREASE
Exports, which were close to 1 billion dollars in 2018 and 2019, gained momentum by exceeding 1 billion 453 million dollars in 2022.
The sector increased its exports, which amounted to 1 billion 912 million dollars in 2024, to an all-time high of 2 billion 243 million dollars in 2025.
Türkiye’s ship and yacht sector exports in the January-April period increased by 103.8 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 932 million 365 thousand dollars from 457 million 392 thousand dollars.
SECOND IN THE WORLD IN MEGA YACHT PRODUCTION
The increasing experience of manufacturers and the design capability developed especially in special production yacht projects have put Türkiye ahead in international competition in this sector.
Türkiye, which surpassed the Netherlands in mega yacht manufacturing, ranks second in the world after Italy.
The sector’s demand from the European market supported the increase in exports by implementing high quality and timely delivered projects.
Technological investments made in recent years and the strengthening of production infrastructure have also accelerated growth.
