The Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed, on Monday, that residents who violate the condition of obtaining a Hajj permit will be punished with a fine of up to 20,000 Saudi riyals, deportation, and a ban from entering the Kingdom for a period of 10 years, stressing that obtaining a regular Hajj permit is a basic condition for performing the Hajj pilgrimage.
The Ministry of Interior called on everyone to adhere to the instructions regulating the Hajj season for the year 1447 AH and to cooperate with the competent authorities to achieve the security and safety of the guests of God, and that violating these instructions exposes the perpetrators to statutory penalties.
