ROOFS FLYED AWAY AND VEHICLES WERE TRAPPED
While the roofs of some buildings were blown off due to the wind, some vehicles were stranded on the roads filled with water.

CITIZENS TAKE SHELTER IN CLOSED AREAS
While citizens who were unprepared for the rain experienced panic, some took shelter in closed areas and security points to protect their vehicles.

TRAFFIC DISRUPTION
Traffic disruptions occurred due to the rain that lasted approximately 45 minutes.

WARNING RECEIVED FROM THE GOVERNORSHIP
In the statement made by Gaziantep Governorship regarding the rains, the following statements were made:
“Although precautions are being taken by our Metropolitan Municipality and the work continues, floods have occurred in places on the Alleben Stream due to the heavy rainfall and storm in our city. In order to avoid any negative situations, our citizens should stay away from the Alleben Stream and other stream beds and places close to areas where water flow is intense, until the rain loses its effect and the stream flow returns to normal.”
