Italian tennis player Janik Siner won the title at the Masters in Madrid, after defeating German Alexander Zverev in the final today, May 3, with a score of 6:1, 6:2.
The match lasted 58 minutes, and Siner became the first player in history to win five consecutive Masters and the first four in one year.
This was his 28th win in a row at the Masters, bringing him even closer to Novak Djokovic’s record of 31.
In addition, he now has 23 wins in a row with only one lost set.
