Among them is a series of texts about the outcome of the referendum in each municipality individually. At that time, there were 21 municipalities in Montenegro, and the results – including those by settlements – are presented in alphabetical order.
Today we remember how the referendum took place in the area of Bar, the municipality that had the most voters on the coast. There were some in the electoral roll 32,255and the right to vote was exercised by 26,382, which means – 81.8 percent.
Support for independence was dominant in Bar – “yes” was circled by 16,640 voters, i.e. 63.7 percent. The “no” option was supported by 9,496 voters or 36.3 percentwhile there were 246 invalid votes.
There were 64 polling stations in the territory of that municipality. On 52, the “yes” option won the majority, on 11 the “no” optionwhile at one polling station the ratio was 50-50.
It is interesting that in four polling stations the “yes” option won 100 percent of the votes – namely in Dabezići, Ckla, Arbneš and Gornji Murići. When it comes to the “no” option, it received the most support at the polling station “Pribojsko odmoralište” in Sutomore (60.3 percent).
Below, see how the results in Bar looked like by part of the municipality.
Note: For facilities where there were several polling stations, i.e. for suburban and rural settlements where there were several polling stations, the number of votes is presented collectively.
