Shaheed El Hafed, April 30, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a message of congratulations to Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the sister Republic of South Africa, on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of his country’s National Day.
He described the event as a significant milestone that embodies the values of freedom and equality and has become a source of inspiration for peoples aspiring to liberation and emancipation.
He reaffirmed the pride of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic in the strong bonds of brotherhood and solidarity linking it with the sister Republic of South Africa, as well as its deep appreciation for South Africa’s steadfast and supportive positions toward the just struggle of the Sahrawi people for freedom and independence.
He also emphasized the Sahrawi Republic’s commitment to continuing to strengthen cooperation and consultation between the two countries, expressing its aspiration to further consolidate these ties in a way that serves the common interests of both brotherly peoples and contributes to strengthening peace and stability across the African continent.
