
A Czech citizen was rescued for yesterday’s May 1st holiday, after he got stuck in a mountain area near the Demirkapi village of Stramashevo.
According to the police, the Czech got stuck due to a breakdown in the engine he was driving.
“On 01.05.2026, it was reported to SVR Veles that in a mountainous area near the village of Stramashevo, Demirkapisko, V.B. (46) from the Czech Republic, due to a breakdown of the motorcycle he was driving, asked for help to get him out of the place. Police officers from OVR Negotino and Police Station for Border Surveillance Mihajlovo and Territorial Fire Fighting Unit Negotino searched the field, where the person was found and taken from the place in good health”, the Ministry of the Interior announced.
A vehicle left the Skopje-Veles highway, six people were rescued without any danger to their lives
