Tunisian innovation has just reached a new level thanks to the ingenuity of Montassar Moussa. This creator has succeeded in developing a printer using Braille technology, a technical feat which represents an absolute first on the scale of Africa and the Arab world.
Speaking this Saturday, May 2, 2026 during his appearance on National Radio, Montassar Moussa specified that this machine makes it possible to produce books and stories specifically adapted to the blind. The price of the device is estimated at 3,000 dinars.
The inventor also emphasized that software is offered free of charge to each purchaser. This computer program allows you to instantly translate any standard text to convert it directly into Braille language. In order to make this technology even more accessible to as many people as possible, Montassar Moussa affirmed that his teams are currently collaborating with various partners to further reduce the cost of production and implement sales solutions through payment facilities.
The innovator’s ambition doesn’t stop at printing. He revealed that he was also working on the development of an educational game in Braille designed to stimulate the emotional and sensory intelligence of visually impaired people. Through these initiatives, the ultimate objective remains to position Tunisia as an essential leader in the industry of equipment intended for people with disabilities.
