According to the online economy report, Mohammad Hafez Hakemi explained in a televised interview regarding the Pro Internet plan: This plan was not a plan of the Ministry of Communications, nor did the Ministry of Communications issue a license in this field, and basically the license that the followers of this plan had obtained was only related to businesses that can maintain their own services in times of crisis.
He said: “The handling of these violations has started in the past days in the Ministry of Communications.”
The advisor of the Minister of Communications said: The original plan had strengths and weaknesses, but the original plan and the proposal of the plan were not presented to the Ministry of Communications and the government.
According to him, in the implementation of the Internet Pro plan, there must have been a bias and violation and the judiciary will definitely follow up.
The advisor to the Minister of Communications, explaining the conditions of the internet disconnection and re-opening, stated: No one in the country wanted to disconnect the internet; A situation had been created that was actually diagnosed, and people fully understand this situation. The reopening of the Internet is also done according to the country’s security conditions and field conditions.
He added: “Today, Alhamdulillah, thanks to the bravery of the armed forces, we have the upper hand in the field, but the presence of the people in the field is also very important as support.” At the same time, many of these people have online businesses, and we follow the reopening of the Internet daily.
The advisor to the Minister of Communications continued: We present our own analysis of cyber risks, security risks and the extent of their control to the competent institutions, and we hope that with the elites they have on the conditions of the field and the security of the country, the Internet will either be removed or step by step.
Referring to the current state of international internet services, he said: Of course, some of the international internet services have returned now. We hope that for the development of the country’s digital economy, which will have a very, very bright future, with this amount of talent and elite and young manpower that we have in the country and graduates who work in this field from the best universities in the country, the internet will return to normal soon. This is the demand of the people and this will definitely happen and the people should be relieved of this issue.
The adviser to the Minister of Communications said about the state of the country’s space infrastructure: In the Space Organization, despite the damage and attacks that the enemy tried to inflict on all our space infrastructures, from the Yemen Research Institute to the Space Organization and the control rooms of the Khayyam satellite, the Khayyam satellite continued to operate without any disruption. The images of this satellite are still received during the war and until today.
Describing the state of communications during the war, Hakkami said: In the field of information technology services and infrastructure, we did not have a single moment of voice communications in the country; This means that people’s normal calls were not interrupted even for a moment.
He added: If you imagine for a minute that the calls were cut off from one point of the country during the war, what stress and anxiety could it cause to the people.
Referring to the performance of internal platforms, the advisor to the Minister of Communications continued: “In the field of internal platforms and internal networks, we had a lot of resilience that maybe it was hard for us to believe that more than two and a half billion messages were exchanged per day on these internal messengers.”
