A 29-year-old tour operator was injured in a stabbing incident at Buccoo Beach, Tobago, on Wednesday morning, the same day as the tragic jet ski accident at Pigeon Point.
Police reports stated that the 29-year-old victim, a resident of Feeder Road, Canaan, was involved in an argument with a man identified only as “PAU” over the placement of beach chairs.
The disagreement escalated, and “PAU” reportedly armed himself with a knife, stabbing the tour operator three times in the lower right leg.
The victim was transported to Scarborough General Hospital via Emergency Health Services for treatment.
