In several cities and towns in the country, five people were deprived of their liberty yesterday due to domestic violence, the Ministry of Interior informs.
They were arrested from Kumanovo, from Strumicko, from Veles, as well as a foreign citizen from Slovenia.
Last night at 9:00 p.m. the police officers from SVR Kumanovo deprived the 35-year-old M.S. because he physically attacked his four years younger wife and two minor children.
The 57-year-old M.D. was also detained in Kumanovo. who is suspected of physically assaulting his 28-year-old daughter.
The Slovenian was arrested yesterday at 20:40 on the boulevard “Macedonian Enlighteners in Ohrid. The police intervened after forty-eight-year-old I.K. from Ljubljana was previously reported to have physically attacked his wife in an apartment in Ohrid after a verbal argument.
Yesterday at 4:00 p.m., a 36-year-old man was at liberty in the village of Strumica, who behaved aggressively towards his 65-year-old mother.
Yesterday morning, at 8:30 a.m., again, in Veles, the local police, also following a previous report, deprived of liberty a 23-year-old resident of the city who physically attacked his one year older sister in the family home.
