The match, which will be played at Ülker Sports and Event Hall, will start at 20.00.

    ECZACIBAŞI WON AFTER 5 SETS

Savino Del Bene started the match well. Against the superior play of the Italian team, Eczacıbaşı took a time-out when the score was 7-3. Returning from the break, Savino Del Bene continued his effective performance against the orange-whites and took the first set 25-20, taking the lead 1-0.

Eczacıbaşı made a good start to the second set with consecutive points. With the inclusion of Ebrar Karakurt in Stysiak’s effective game, the orange-whites did not cede the superiority to their opponent throughout the set. Eczacıbaşı won the second set 25-20 and brought the score to 1-1.

The third set started with a close game. In the later part of the set, Eczacıbaşı put its weight on the game with the performances of Stysiak, Jack-Kısal and Ebrar Karakurt, as well as the mistakes of the opponent, and gained a 21-13 advantage. The orange-whites took the set 25-17 and took the lead 2-1.

The fourth set witnessed a competitive game. In the head-to-head match, Savino Del Bene played the end of the set well. The Italian team finished the set ahead 25-21 and made the score 2-2.

There was also a big conflict in the final set. Eczacıbaşı, who was effective with Ebrar Karakurt in front of the net and diagonally, gained a 6-3 lead and the Italian team took a timeout. The orange-whites did not allow the gap to close after the break and won the set 15-8 and the match 3-2 and made it to the final.

TURKISH FINAL IN CEV CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

VakıfBank and Eczacıbaşı, who eliminated their rivals in the CEV Champions League Final Four, will duke it out in the final tomorrow.

VakıfBank, who beat A. Carraro Imoco 3-2, will try to win its 7th championship in the CEV Champions League in Istanbul.

    The yellow-black team won the championship in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2023.

The yellow-blacks, coached by Italian head coach Giovanni Guidetti, reached the finals undefeated this season.

If VakıfBank wins the cup, it will catch Volley Bergamo (7), the third team with the most championships in the tournament.

Eczacıbaşı, who beat Savino Del Bene 3-2, will take the field to take the cup to its museum for the second time in the CEV Champions League.

The orange-whites, under the management of head coach Giulio Cesare Bregoli, completed the Final Four organization held in Poland in 2015 with the championship.

VAKIFBANK AND ECZACIBAŞI BECAME RIVALS IN THE FINAL FOR THE SECOND TIME

VakıfBank and Eczacıbaşı will face each other for the second time in the CEV Champions League final.

In the organization, Turkish representatives duke it out in the final match played in the 2022-2023 season.

This match will also be the second Turkish final in the history of the Champions League.

TURKISH WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL GUARANTEED THE 27TH CUP

The cup remained in Türkiye this season, as two Turkish teams reached the final.

Turkish teams won 26 trophies, including 8 championships each in the international Club World Championship and CEV Champions League, 6 championships in the CEV Cup and 4 championships in the CEV Challenge Cup.

The Champions League cup, which was first won by VakıfBank in the 2011 season, was later included in the museums of Turkish teams 7 more times.

During this period, VakıfBank became the star and crescent team that won the most championships by winning the cup 6 times.

Fenerbahçe and Eczacıbaşı won the championship in this organization once each.

VakıfBank had the joy of lifting the cup in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2023, Fenerbahçe in 2012 and Eczacıbaşı in 2015.
