The Minister of Finance has advised that the following changes in retail petroleum product prices, inclusive of VAGST, will apply from 1st MAY 2026.
Petrol: increase by 66.3 sene per litre, from $2.85 to $3.51
Diesel: increase by 141.3 sene per litre, from $3.09 to $4.50
Kerosene: increase by 135.0 sene per litre, from $2.70 to $4.05
The USA-Iran conflict has impacted crude oil and refined product prices worldwide, primarily due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and the resulting impact on global crude oil supplies.
On the supply side, the Government is working closely with its contracted fuel supplier and Petroleum Products Supplies Ltd (PPS), the onshore distributor, to ensure continuity of supply. Additional fuel cargoes are scheduled for loading in Singapore in early May and June.

Petrol $3.51 per litre
Diesel $4.50 per litre
Kerosene $4.05 per litre
