Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan addressed the issue of the health condition of Armenian prisoners held in Baku.
“Armenpress”During the press conference in the press hall of the , Avanesyan, referring to the question whether he has any information about the health condition of the Armenians held in Baku, Avanesyan answered:
“Works related to the health condition of the Armenians detained in Baku and all other issues are constantly ongoing under the coordination of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. I assure you that these issues are in the center of attention through both international law and all possible humanitarian channels, coordinated by our foreign political department. These works do not delay for a second, they do not slow down, but they are always in the center of our government’s attention,” said Avanesyan.
Azerbaijan continues to illegally keep 19 Armenian prisoners, including representatives of the former military and political leadership of Nagorno Karabakh. Imprisonment sentences were passed against them on false charges.
