In a statement delivered to the media, Nokovic claims that the manner in which the decision on his dismissal was made leaves serious questions.
“First of all, due to the fact that the voting was secret. The question arises: why was it necessary to hide the views and whether someone is ashamed of their decision or does not want to take responsibility in front of the citizens”, says Noković
He especially points out that it was resolved by the votes of representatives of political entities, including the vote of a member of the SNP.
“During my mandate, I did not receive a single rational or expertly based objection to my work. On the contrary, I have behind me concrete results, implemented programs and performances, as well as positive opinions regarding the financial operations of the institution. The saddest thing in all of this is that part of the SNP participated in such a decision. This, in my deep conviction, spit in the face of the members of the OO SNP Zeta, as well as the founders of the party, and at the same time devalued earlier decisions that had their support”, claims Noković.
If someone believes that he acted legally and in the interest of the public, he adds, he believes that there is no reason not to confirm this before the competent judicial authorities.
“I, for my part, will seek justice in that way. In the end, I want to make it clear that I will not accept any position offered to me by the Municipality, because I am not fighting for positions, but for principles and professional integrity,” says Noković.
