Al-Aradi added that the people whose citizenship was revoked were summoned to the Bahrain Immigration and Citizenship Department and asked to leave the country within 72 hours.
The Ministry of Interior of Bahrain announced yesterday Monday that it has revoked the citizenship of 69 people, including their family members, for supporting what it called Iran’s hostile actions and glorifying these actions.
According to Bahrain’s citizenship law, anyone who harms the interests of this country or acts in a way that conflicts with loyalty to the country will be deprived of citizenship.
The Ministry of Interior of Bahrain has also accused the mentioned people of providing information to foreign parties.
