Bon Vivants has been named to the prestigious North America 50 Best Bars list for 2026. The craft cocktail bar debuted at number 50.
“To see a bar from The Bahamas represented on a list like North America’s 50 Best Bars is extraordinary, and honestly a dream come true,” said Bon Vivants co-founders, William Young and Kyle Jones. “It shows the level of world class talent and hospitality that exists in our country. We’ve always believed that a bar in The Bahamas can stand alongside some of the best in the world, and now we know it can”.
Sip & Guzzle, New York; Bar Mauro, Mexico City; and Bar Snack, New York, comprised the top three.
Bon Vivants is the only bar, restaurant or hotel from The Bahamas ever to be included on a 50 Best list, firmly placing the country on the global map for cocktails and hospitality.
Officials said the North America 50 Best Bar honor, represented the culmination of more than seven years of dedication, creativity, and consistency from the team.
“This is the result of paying attention to every single detail — from the cocktails themselves to the experience we create for our guests,” said Niko Imbert, senior vice president of hospitality. “We’re immensely proud of our team, and so proud to represent The Bahamas on this global stage.”
The announcement came on the heels of the recent Caribbean Cocktail Tour, which joined the internationally-celebrated bars La Factoria from Puerto Rico and Library By The Sea from Grand Cayman — both previous North America 50 Best Honorees — with Bon Vivants to hold guest shifts across the three countries, highlighting the best of Caribbean mixology.
Bon Vivants management said they will continue the momentum with a celebration to launch its 2026 menu on April 30, which introduces a new section of Bahamian-inspired cocktails that celebrate the flavors, culture, and identity of The Bahamas.
The craft cocktail bar previously earned multiple regional top 10 honors at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, and was featured on 50 Best Discovery in 2025.
