The National Police based in the Cibao Central Regional Directorate in the province of Santiago, has at least six individuals on its most wanted list, all linked to homicides and murders, bloody events that have occurred in recent months.
The list is headed by Jhovanny de Jesús Metz Cruz, alias Macho, 28 years old, accused of attacking with a knife and causing the death of Deivy Carlos Abreu Quezada, after having chased him with a mob of motorcyclists to the Palace of Justice in this city.
Due to this fact, another seven people are subject to judicial action and face 3 months of preventive detention as a measure of coercion.
Likewise, Víctor González Martínez, 31 years old, who sexually raped and took the life of the young Yuleini Frías de León, 30 years old, and later cremated her in the home where she lived; in an event that occurred on March 29 in the municipality of Sabana Iglesia, in this province of Santiago.
It should be noted that, in this case, the victim’s relatives and the entire Sabana Iglesia community also immersed themselves in the search for González Martínez, through the mountainous and wooded areas of this town.
Meanwhile, Raimi de Jesús Brito Parra, alias “Gordo Baba”, is another of the most wanted, identified by the National Police as the person allegedly responsible for causing the death due to gunshot wounds to Albert Amauris López, known as Chapo, and Frailyn Manuel de Jesús León, alias “Gordo”, as well as causing injuries to Juan José García Ventura, in the middle of an incident that occurred on March 20 on street No. 14 in the Fondo de la Botella sector, in the Santiago Oeste municipal district (Cienfuegos), supposedly due to old disputes related to the sale and distribution of controlled substances.
In addition, Yelfri Salvador García, 36, is being sought for his alleged connection to the incident in which Adonis Domingo Abreu, who lived in the Altos de Rafey sector, died from gunshot wounds and died on March 16, in the middle of a conflict that arose during a basketball game, when a teenager with the initials AMGC was also injured.
On the other hand, the authorities are looking for Saúl Hernández, alias Wily, 28 years old, for being the alleged perpetrator, in the company of Willi José León García, known as Willito, who is subject to justice, and Wedelyn Josel Eon García, alias Wesllin, who was a fugitive, for causing the death of Raymond Clemente Navarro, of Puerto Rican nationality, from a gunshot wound, in an event that occurred in the middle of an assault, on April 17 this year, at Wilmer’s Car Wash and Billar, located on Hispanoamericana Avenue, in the municipal district of Canabacoa, Santiago.

Meanwhile, Wedelyn Orlando Reyes Rodríguez, known as Wesllin, 28 years old, was being sought for being the alleged perpetrator in the company of Saúl Hernández, alias Willy, who is a fugitive from justice, and Willi José León García, alias Willito, the latter subdued, of causing the death by gunshot wound of Raymond Clemente Navarro, of Puerto Rican nationality, in the aforementioned event that occurred in the middle of an assault.
